Meet Grace, she is from Ekiti State, whose passion was to care for people and become a nurse. She couldn’t afford the training however. Flying Doctors Nigeria heard her story and took charge of her training. She is a certified Nurse today.
Meet Tolu, she is a medical student who won an essay competition organised by Flying Doctors Nigeria because of the concern over the state of student research and publications in Nigeria. She did so well she was awarded a cash prize of 100,000 naira. This was done to encourage medical students to continue to develop in the area of research publications
Meet Ifeanyi, a courageous young woman who stepped up to take a cash gift offered from the stage in a large room filled with young women, where Dr Ola Orekunrin, Founder of Flying Doctors Nigeria was speaking. Everyone else was too shy to come out for fear of what other people would say or because they were doubtful someone would offer them money for the taking with no strings attached. Z was brave enough to step out to receive the cash gift Dr Ola offered.

What is CSR?
Corporate social responsibility (CSR) is a very broad concept that addresses many and various topics such as human rights, corporate governance, health and safety, environmental effects, working conditions and contribution to economic development. Whatever the definition is, the purpose of CSR is to drive change towards sustainability.

Women in Nigeria:
Domestic violence cuts across all socio-economic and cultural backgrounds. Twenty-eight (28%) per cent of all women, almost a third of all women in Nigeria, have experienced physical violence. About 8 out of 1000 women die at childbirth or during pregnancy, while about 43% of girls are married off before the age of 18.
Our aim is to empower these women.
The Flying Doctors is an air ambulance service that specializes in transporting patients from a low level of care to a specialized level of care to save their lives.
